The Mike Walsh Band

From the heartland of America, Mike Walsh’s music originated from small-town Iowa and has now taken him to the Des Moines area, where he is currently based. His sound is best described as modern country rock, influenced by a wide range of artists and styles.

Mike has been playing guitar for around ten years and has performed with various bands, performers, and musicians. During that time, he released two EPs with his former punk rock band. After going solo, he shifted his musical influences and style, releasing three more EPs and, most recently, his debut album, Losing Control.

At his shows, Mike plays a wide variety of covers, mainly focusing on rock and country hits spanning several decades.

His musical influences are diverse, ranging from Bob Dylan to Green Day and Cody Jinks. He also enjoys artists like The Artisanals and Futurebirds. At the core, his passion is both listening…
